Hi!

I'm Karen Ashley, and I'm a wordsmith and avid globetrotter. Presently, I work as a freelance editor and technical writer, and I'm looking for a writing and editing position in a stimulating environment, where I can continue to sharpen my skills.

Last year, I took an 11-month jaunt around the globe, traveling all over Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, and Eastern Europe. When it was all said and done, I visited 13 countries and participated in a variety of service projects, including rehabilitating victims of sex trafficking in Thailand and teaching English to orphans in the Philippines. As a result of this trip, I'm also quite adept at wrangling piglets, building mud houses, puffing and panting up mountains, and showing up llamas, all of which are very handy skills to have, I'm sure.
