I practiced civil and family litigation in Connecticut for 24 years. Now I manage Lakeland Terrier Press, LLC. I have published four legal novels featuring series heroine Attorney Emma Carbury--Stay Balanced!; Eyes Up, Heels Down; Inside Leg, Outside Rein; and Never Rush Your Fences. They are all available on Amazon, and I'm currently finishing up the fifth book in the series--Speak With Your Aids, and working on the sixth--School From the Heart. My novels are all about 'demystifying the mystical'! Emma's continuing adventures are based on real cases. They're funny with plenty of action and dialogue, and I've written screenplays for the first two books. I also introduce New Earth practices like Shamanism, Energy Healing, interpreting Synchronicities, and Dream Symbol analysis into each of the plots. My ultimate goal is to teach people through major films to avoid common mistakes that I saw in my law practice--such as the useless cycle of medicating and litigating. My hope is that the public will learn to balance their mainstream lives by waking up to the metaphysical elements that influence us every day. In each of my books Emma learns more, and as she does so, her life changes.
