Karen Beck, founding partner of Summerlin Property Group L.L.C, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada from Los Angeles, California and is currently a REALTOR® with Platinum Real Estate Professionals.

Karen studied Finance at Pennsylvania State University and proceeded with her Masters degree in Health Administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Despite her success as a Financial Data Analyst in the Healthcare industry, Karen decided to pursue a career with the United States Airforce Reserves as a Medical Service Corp Officer where she serves as Captain in the 452d ASTS unit and is responsible for preparing the sick or wounded before flight evacuation.

Throughout her career of serving others, Karen continues to devote her time, resources and talent to give back to her community. For several years, Karen volunteered in the Step Up Womens Network serving as a mentor to underprivileged teens. She has also volunteered for Mark Wahlberg's A Place Called Home which gives urban teens alternatives to street related activities. Karen also plays an important role in charity event production for both the George Lopez and the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundations. All in all, Karen realizes the importance of having strong foundations of the home.
