Karen Callwood

Hello, I’m Karen. I’m currently an English teacher living in Frankfurt, Germany. Teaching was the easiest way for me to get my foot in the door in Europe as there is a demand for English teachers among business professionals.

Although teaching has allowed me to grow professionally and work creatively (I make awesome lesson plans) it is time for me to follow my passions. I love Frankfurt and wish to stay here permanently. I thrive best working in an office environment that allows for me to work in a team as well as independently. As someone who works best under pressure, I genuinely love working with deadlines.

I have experience working in a wide range of industries such as retail, automotive, and humanitarian aide. Based on my experience, I consider myself a customer service expert. Over the years, I have received training in data software and analytics.

I am a fan of social media, marketing, travel, and writing and would love to explore these areas in a professional capacity more closely. My dream is to one day be in a management position; and to not only grow my own career but to grow the success of whatever company is lucky enough to acquire my skills.

I’m also interested in Indian food, cute animal pictures and since I was raised by video games I have an interest in gaming as well. In my spare time, I enjoy writing short stories and plays.
