Karen Carlin

An experienced Massachusetts CFP (certified financial planner) and CEPA (certified exit planning advisor), Karen Carlin first joined Boston’s UBS Financial Services as a senior wealth strategy associate in 1994. Leaving UBS to work for Credit Suisse from 2008 to 2015, she provided clients with a range of targeted financial strategy advice. Karen Carlin subsequently returned to UBS’s offices in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the course of her career she has built specific areas of expertise that include education funding, retirement strategies, estate planning, and risk analysis, as well as general financial guidance to high-net-worth business executives and their families.

Outside of the professional arena, Ms. Carlin spends a great deal of time cooking and reading at her home in Boston, Massachusetts. She is also an avid outdoor explorer and adventure sports enthusiast who enjoys hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. In 2017, she joined with a friend to raise $13,000 for the American Red Cross by soliciting sponsors for their Boston Marathon run.
