Karen has worked for Soundscapes, an audio production company, for 19 years, so she must like it. The company produces creative award-winning sound for broadcast and new media, including radio production, original music, sound design, podcasting.

Karen reads scripts, finds the perfect voices, collaborates with clients on projects' sound design and schedule, and keeps a tight rein on the budgets on their behalf.

In her spare time, Karen is a cat whisperer with faux party hair that she keeps in a secret drawer. She may or may not have antique engraved napkin rings that once belonged to a woman named Fanny. She has added another shelter dog to her pack and named her Maggie Evans after a character from Dark Shadows.
