Karen Dempsey Carney founder and owner-broker of Alliance Relocation has been helping clients successfully relocate from all over the world to communities throughout the Greater Boston area. In addition to Alliance Relocation, she founded Alliance Home Loan, a residential mortgage company. Karen’s prior work experience includes; Citizens Bank where she was an account executive specializing in residential lending and the Boston Office of Hunneman Coldwell Banker where Karen was a top-producing residential real estate agent and where she started working with relocation clients. Karen is a graduate of Boston University. She currently serves as a board member with the Friends of the Charlestown Navy Yard and has held prior board positions to include; The Town of Winchester Personnel Board, The Downtown Women’s Club, The Woman Business Founders (a chapter of the National Association for Female Executives) and has served on homeowner association boards. Karen supports a number of non-profit organizations and is especially passionate about The Friends of Boston’s Homeless and BUILD in Boston which provides underserved young people with educational resources. Additional non-profit commitments have included; the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind and Karen has been a volunteer ski instructor with both Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports program and Maine Handicapped Skiing.
