A journalist by training, with more than 20 years experience under my belt, I've produced content for online, newspaper/magazine and radio audiences.

I specialise in producing sharp, accurate copy to a deadline for websites, blogs, articles/features and PR clients.

I am experienced in writing for a range of audiences, from general news, to fact sheets and guides for small businesses and profiles of social development organisations for academic readers.

I am also an experienced proof reader, with projects ranging from an annually-updated guidebook to health and safety websites and online newsletters.

Juggling tasks and managing work to a deadline has always been part of my working day and I am comfortable handling a number of projects at once.

Due to living in rural Northumberland, I am particularly interested in roles which offer the opportunity to work from home.
