Dr. Karen Escalante

I am an Educator and Educational Consultant currently living in California. I earned my doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education. I am passionate about supporting pre-service and inservice teachers, which translates into student success for our PK-12 students. To ensure my work with pre-service and inservice teachers is relevant and purposeful, I remain current on California’s policies that impact teacher education. Previous and current scholarly work includes leadership, leadership succession, transgender youth, family engagement, pedagogy, coaching, mentoring and lesson study.
