Karen Hellier

Karen Hellier is a content creator on YouTube under the channel name “Adventures in Saving Money”. She has taught classes on how to save money on groceries for over 20 years and has started to post on YouTube in order to help more people save money.

BACKGROUND

Karen has a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in child welfare. Karen worked in the social services field with children in a variety of positions for over 30 years.

Since 2012, Karen has enjoyed freelance writing, writing for clients including various businesses, non-profit social service agencies, real estate professionals, and for private blog owners.

In 2026, she decided to follow her heart to help the homeless and hungry, and those struggling financially, and started her Youtube channel.

INTERESTS

A move from New England to North Georgia in 2014 helped Karen continue to follow her passion for saving money when she discovered wonderful thrift stores in the Atlanta area. Karen has a passion for writing and also for helping people save money, and earn money from home.

Karen is also an avid coupon user and often writes about saving money. And has now branched out to making videos about that subject.
