Karen Puleski
New England, United States
Karen Puleski is an almost 40 married, mom of 3, Kappa Delta Alumnae, Florida Gators fan, and the face behind the popular online publications, Practical Frugality, When Is Dinner, and Common Centsability. Her family is active in the New England Community, she is her kids full time taxi driver to 2 different schools and an array of sports activities.
Her oldest son is on the Autism Spectrum, with other special needs as well, and he is active in Special Olympics and runs Cross Country. He has fallen in love with the Boston Red Sox and all things baseball. Her middle son dreams of playing for the Chicago Bears, Miami Heat, Boston Bruins, and New England Revoltion after graduating from MIT – He’s 10. The youngest has ADHD, and is also wants to play for the Chicago Bears when he grows up, or play in the PGA. Her kids missed the memo that the Green Bay Packers are clearly the superior team :) We are all avid readers and enjoy playing games (outdoors, board games, and video games), watching movies, and television shows together.
The slow cooker is her BFF, she is a master multi-tasker, logistics coordinator, and frugal deal shopaholic. She does have THREE almost teenage boys to feed on a budget, and requires frequent fuel fill ups for Dora, the Explorer – probably soon to be Mini Van. You’ll usually find her armed a can of Lysol, bottle of Febreeze, Cooler of snacks/drinks, First Aid Kit (with Benadryl and Epi Pen for bizarre allergies she has to pretty much everything outdoors), Sports Chairs and Blankets. Mrs. Puleski has professional experience in working in the Finance Industry before she was needed Full Time in the home, and currently works closely with clients on brand ambassadorships, client outreach services, content creation and creative social media advertising exposure.
