Karen Simeons

I work in the Digital Strategy & Innovation team within the UK Learning Technologies Group.

Working mainly on digital innovation projects for schools & colleges I have a background in Product Management & Project/Programme Management. Just two letters difference but completely different worlds. These days I struggle to pinpoint the field I would say I work in if an outsider asked - that could be a good thing.

It's good to work for an organisation with such a broad but clear goal.

I am a generalist and love to be part of a team with a vision and help them get from A to B.

My ideal career would involve no less use of my brain but a bit less sitting on my bum, I love creative sports like yoga and dance and would love to run away and join the circus as a trapeze artist.

I live in Oxford, UK with my husband and pet rabbit. I am also a trustee of Oxford Homeless Pathways, a regional homelessness service.

I am currently trying to write a book.
