I was inspired by childhood memories of cousins and sleep-overs under warm quilts at my grandmother's home. I wanted to make those memories for my own family, but didnt know how to start. One day I went to a local quilt shop and took a class. From that one pattern, I created many custom unique designs for each family member- winning several blue ribbons in my local country fair. My mentor encouraged me to step into the final stage of "long arm quilting". After thoughtful prayers and research, I began the process of remodeling my garage into a studio at home. I purchased a Gammill 26-10 Vision in November, 2010 and boldly retired the following month. It has been my great pleasure to meet new friends and be a part of their prideful quilting creations. Now I feel it is my turn to pay that quilting love and encouragement forward to other new beginners.
