Hey, I’m Karen. I’m a freelance translator living in Arica, Chile. I love translating humanistic type of texts. Fields such as literature, psychology, education, games, sports and music are the fields I most enjoy translating.

Despite the specific translation preferences I mentioned before, I love translating texts of different fields. I am able to learn and mold myself according to the needs of my clients, because of my professional training in translation, which allows me to always deliver quality translations.

My fascination with languages began at a young age. It was closely tied to my love for writing, as I had a desire to express my ideas in a way that was so intimate and private that no one else —at least within my family— could understand. That's where my dictionary became my best friend :).
