Karen Wink has worked as both a staff photojournalist and a stringer for newspapers in Louisiana and Mississippi. During her most current staff role at the American Press in Lake Charles, LA, she won more than 35 awards from the Louisiana Press Association and the LA/MS Associated Press Managing Editors for her photography, videography and feature writing. She has been published in newspapers and magazines across the U.S. Currently, she is pursuing a freelance career in the Atlanta Metro area.
