Hi, I am a 52 year old Mom, Grandmom, (actually they call me Mimi) and caretaker of my almost 80 year old Mom. I am really no different than most busy Moms out there trying to make it through day to day.

I have been married a few times, the third one was a keeper. I have four children, one biological and three adopted. My husband and I went through IVF to try to have children, but after many procedures for both of us, lots of challenges, heartbreak and tears shed we decided to adopt. There was never a question in our mind about adoption. We also were foster parents for a few years in between adoptions.

My oldest son is soon turning 30 and made me a Mimi two years ago to twin girls. My oldest girl is living on her own now and I now have my two youngest home as well as my Mother (cue craziness - 2 queens - 1 home)

When I thought about becoming a Mom all those years ago, this definitely wasn't the path I envisioned taking. But God had a different plan for me and I wouldn't change it for the world.

After working for over 25 years, in 2002 I left my job, when we began our adoption jouney. I missed so many things when my son was young, I wanted the opportunity to enjoy all those Mom things with my new daughter.

Fast forward to many years of being home, I started to feel like I had lost a part of myself. I was out of shape and about 50 pounds overweight. I worked out a the "Y"and I started to work there but it just didn't work for me or my schedule. I ran into a friend of mine at a school function and she looked amazing and told me what she was doing to look so great. She got me hooked on T-25 and 21 Day Fix and all things Beachbody and I haven't turned back.

Today I work at home, as a Health & Wellness Coach, babysit my grand twins a couple days a week while taking care of my Mom and my two youngest daughters. We have a crazy, busy life with laughter, tears, frustrations and lotsa of love and fun.
