I grew up in the middle of Montana, working for the family auction business and going to rodeos in the summers. After high school, I headed to college at Concordia in Moorhead, MN. I was very involved in lots of different service, music, and ministry organizations and somehow still found time to get all my work done and graduate with a Youth Ministry degree (religion major, psychology minor).
After college, I served with Lutheran Global Missions for two years in England. As a volunteer, I was placed at a Catholic youth retreat center just north of London and I fell in love with the European lifestyle. Living and working in a small community with 25 other young adults from all over the world made for a very transformative and intriguing experience(and that's an understatement).
After two years in England, I returned home to Montana to spend some much needed catch-up time with my friends and family. After 8 months home, I decided it was time for another adventure. I packed up my stuff and moved to Minneapolis and I'm eagerly waiting to see what God has in store for me next.
I have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to so many corners of the world over the past 5 years. My journey has taken me to some extraordiary places that has only continued to feed my hunger for adventure.
The world is such a beautiful place, I can't help but explore it.
