Kari Carlos

An honors graduate of Woodward Academy, Kari Carlos earned a bachelor of arts in history from Emory University in Atlanta. After spending summers working for National Distributing Company in customer service and warehousing, she joined the company’s fine wine team as an on-premise sales consultant after graduating. Kari Carlos was then promoted to district manager and area manager for the Atlanta firm. To prepare for her increased responsibilities, she earned Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 certification, in addition to taking various graduate exams.
In 2011, Ms. Carlos accepted a position as vice president of business development with WineSource International, now known as Pacific Highway Wine & Spirits. Drawing on her background in brand building and sales, she helped launch international brands such as Argentina’s Chakras Wines and Italy’s Luna Nuda Wines in the United States. For the past five years, Kari Carlos has served as vice president for National Distributing Company, where she is also a member of the Next-Gen Leadership team.
