Hello, I’m Karin.

I'm passionate to sustainability and circular economy, dedicating my work to systemic change, believing in the power of collaboration and partnerships for transformation and regeneration of society and economy.

I'm Co-Founder and President of Circular Economy Forum Austria, the leading multistakeholder platform supporting Austria's transition to a regenerative circular economy where I work together with a large number of experts in the field as well as organisations with differnt background contributing to a circular economy & society.

In 2023 I became designated chair of the Austrian Task Force Circular Economy, an interdisciplinary board advising the government on the implementation of the national CE strategy.

Since 2024 im holding the City of Vienna endowed professorship for circular economy & transformative business models at University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, designing curricula, eductional programmes and materials for future skills to enable students for the transition.

My strong academic background in sustainability and stakeholder communication has also made me lecturer (from 2010) to programme director of the exceutive MSc “Sustainable Business Management” (2016) and a certificate programme on 'Sustainable Finance' (2020).

I've serve as a member of the board of advisors at Global Compact Network Austria since 2017, putting great effort in promoting an all-level systemic change towards a sustainable development of society.
