Karin Chien

I've produced 10 independent feature films in the last 10 years. I founded dGenerate Films, the leading distributor of uncensored contemporary Chinese cinema. I co-founded i love 2, a boutique video production company committed to socially conscious media. I started the Center for Asian American Media Fellowship, a professional mentoring program. I teach at Temple University, previously at NYU and SVA. I am a four-time Independent Spirit Award nominee, and the 2010 winner of the Independent Spirit Piaget Producers Award.
