Photo editing children's books is Karin's passion - she's working on her 4th one now.
She once jumped from a moving train, bought a one-way ticket to Germany at 18, learned the language and got a job at the Berlitz language school; she also did a stint as a chef in DC, got a wine certification from the CIA, lost a car in a Death Valley sandstorm, directed a commedia dell-arte play for a small town in the Alps, spent a day with Muhammad Ali, and rehabilitated two wayward dachshunds.
For fun, she writes poems, designs soup, and hikes up any hill you put in front of her.
