Background I became interested in real estate after I was asked by the business leaders in the community to help children learn and become productive in the business world. It was important to understand the other side of the coin so-to-speak, so I began taking classes dealing with real estate. I am now a Realtor at Exit Realty Professionals in Virginia Beach. My first sale was to a teacher’s assistant. She and her daughter both had special needs. I never realized how thankful she was until I found them just the right home. She hugged me and cried. It may sound strange, but this is when I started my love affair with real estate. I love to work in the yard, watch my Koi, and just enjoy nature. Reading and outdoor water sports are another favorite past time I take pleasure in. My husband is retired Navy and my brother-in-law was retired Air Force, it has been my privilege to help and work with the military and their family. I know firsthand the stress and excitement of relocating to a new place and trying to find a home or sell an existing home.
