Karine is a marketing and communication specialist with a main expertise in new media. She helps companies understand the challenges brought by new media in general and integrate social media strategies, content marketing and digital campaigns into their global business strategies.
She started her career by working for many top public relations and corporate communication firms in Paris such as Ogilvy PublicRelations, Publicis Consultants and Burson-Marsteller i&e. She was in charge of managing strategic communication projects, digital communication campaigns as well as online influence and reputation management programs for companies in different industries including FMCG, public sector, technology, leisure and tourism, luxury, healthcare, and financial services.
She moved back to the Middle East in 2012, to work as Strategic Communications and Research Manager at social4ce, a leading social media consulting firm based in the MENA region. She was in charge of corporate and marketing development and managed social media campaigns and research projects for clients in the UAE, in KSA and in Lebanon.
Karine is a regular contributor on wamda.com, one of the Middle East’s leading online media “inspiring, empowering and connecting entrepreneurs”. She writes views and opinions about the importance of socialmedia for startups. She also has a blog onesteahead.me where she writes about new media marketing trends and inspirations, focusing on the MENA Region.
Karine holds a BA in Business and Management, and a Masters in Marketing and Communications from Sciences-Po Paris.
