Karin Kirkpatrick

Since 2006, Karin Kirkpatrick has served as an adjunct professor at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She teaches students in the graduate and undergraduate programs in Vancouver, as well as at the campus in Shanghai, China. Among other topics, Karin Kirkpatrick lectures on strategic compensation and employee relationship management.
Karin Kirkpatrick previously oversaw operations at The Real Estate Foundation of BC, a philanthropic organization affiliated with the Real Estate Services Act. As chief executive officer, she guided efforts to maximize sustainable land use in the area. She collaborated with other local leaders to perform research, secure funding for real estate projects, and promote sustainability education initiatives.
In addition to her professional experience, Karin Kirkpatrick possesses an LLM from the University of Edinburgh with an emphasis on international law and practice and an MBA from Royal Roads University, where she focused on human resources. She is also certified as a management accountant through Chartered Professional Accountants of BC.
