I'm Karissa Hartzell and I'm an Ohio State student.

My five StengthsQuest strengths are achiever, competition, harmony, arranger, and belief. My top strength is achiever and this is essential for my future. It is the reason that I excelled in high school and made it here, so to get a good job after graduation I must have an achiever's mindset to reach that goal. I am sometimes labeled as an "over-achiever" which is fitting for my achiever and competition strengths.

I hate to admit it, but I haven't always been the best at managing my time. In class when we mapped out how we spend our time and how we should spend our time and this was helpful. It showed me how I can manage my time better to be more successful.

My favorite Ohio State tradition is the singing of Carmen Ohio. After every sporting event all the students put their arms around each other and sway while singing the Alma Mater, Carmen Ohio. The lyrics of Carmen Ohio symbolize how it feels to be a Buckeye and singing this with past and present Buckeyes is very meaningful. This assignment was my favorite because I got to learn about all the Ohio State traditions and how they started.
