When I was ready to leave the nest, millions of years ago, I decided to see the world. I was born in Germany, loved my hometown but thought there must be something else.
I left home and studied for years in different cities in Germany. When I finished my education I was still not prepared to go back and took my first job in Germany as far away as possible.
After a few years I thought the world is bigger then Germany and I moved to England. Other people go on vacation, I liked to live there. Get known the people proper and not as a tourist.
After another few years I thought the world is bigger then Europe and I moved to the US. Get known the people proper and not as a tourist.
Do I miss my hometown? Home is where the heart is and the world is certainly bigger then a city....
