One of my first jobs was as an Entertainment's Officer at a seaside hotel in my home town of Sandown on the Isle of Wight, UK, I was just sixteen years old. Over the years, I have also had hands on experience as a night club manager, corporate event planner and security services manager for prestigious clients like Bristol University and elite events such as the Cowes Week Yachting Gala in the UK. In the early 90’s I was introduced to Anthony Robbins during the peak performance speaker’s landmark tour of the UK. This chance meeting began a long career working for Robbins exclusive promoter in Europe, where I learned many aspects of the industry under my friend and mentor, Richard Steel. During this time, I also took some time out to assist in the setup of a new and exciting educational program offering accelerated learning techniques to children of all ages. I thoroughly enjoyed this role and was part of a team that contributed in the securing of Government funding to ensure that the programme continued to reach the greatest number of children nationwide. I have stayed involved with corporate training and education which led to a long and varied history in the event services industry. In time, I became aware of the considerable number of up and coming speakers that had both valuable content and a huge desire to reach a greater number people, but many lacked the experience or resources to promote their message through both accessible product delivery and exceptionally produced live events. So it came to be that in 2007, after much deliberation, I decided to dedicate my time to creating Be Better Be More, a vision of using the latest technology to bring together the finest education and trainings in a global community of speakers, products and ideas to make them available to anyone, regardless of geography. Having been encouraged to put his ideas out into the universe by my wife, I have returned to the United Kingdom to continue my journey here. I am results-driven, I have a broad range of experience within Event Production and I have been a professional Sales and Marketing Strategist. I believe I have an outstanding knowledge of interpersonal, negotiation and event management skills.
