Karla María García

I’m Karla, I like music especially classical music for work and sleep and for dancing I love dancehall or Afro. I enjoy family evenings, I have a dog which I adore. I like to travel especially to the beach. I studied dentistry at UNAM and I also specialized in Public Health, I’m currently a professor at FACMED and I’m proud to be part of it. The elective that I’m taking today I like because it addresses a public health problem that affects mostly young people who I treat and who I want to help from this space. I’ve worked with children, young people and older adults and I have gotten the best out of all of them. I’m very interested in research, which is why I published an article with my specialty tutor on the role of nursing in the oral health of the elderly. And I’m passionate about every step of the statistical analysis even if it seems very sappy. I intend to continue with my master's degree in Gender Studies in the medical field.
