Passion for Media & Entertainment

My name is Karline Joseph. I come from a large haitian family. Growing up, media and entertainment plagued our lives. Every friday, we would gather around and watch movies, eat pizza, and play games. Although we do not gather around every friday night, entertainment still plague our everyday lives. However, instead of just watching the lastest blockbuster, I love to disect it. I love research the lastest shows/movies comming on, ratings, commings and goinging, sequels, background story, reviews, trends, forums, and the list go on and on.

Marketing & Economics

I always had a thirst for curosity. As a kid, I wold always asked questions and was always plagued with advententure. While working as a floor associate at Kmart, I began to notice familiar patterns. Frontend displays whenever a new product would appear, shelf positioning of generic brands below eye level, color signals whenever a sale would occur. These observations and more lead me to want to pursue marketing & economics.
