Karlo Knezevic, Ph.D.

As an accomplished professional with a solid academic background and extensive experience, I am excited to introduce myself as a dedicated individual who thrives in challenging environments.

I graduated with honors (cum laude) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb, followed by a doctoral dissertation with high honors (magna cum laude) in 2023.

My career journey includes serving as a software engineer and team lead in research and development at Sofa IT, as well as an assistant and researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. I have also contributed to the education sector as a lecturer and leader of specialist education at Algebra University College.

I am leading the artificial intelligence and analytics team at Sofa IT, which has further honed my skills and experience.

I have mentored several undergraduate and graduate theses, published numerous scientific papers, and attended conferences and international training courses. My professional associations include membership with domestic and international organizations and societies.
I am a married father of one child, proficient in English and German.
