Karolina received MA diploma in Psychology at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, General Psychology. She also completed a training in Group Analysis in Instytut Rasztow in Warsaw, Poland, and is in the process of obtaining her professional certification. She also completed the introductory training in Couples Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Tavistock Relationships and Mentalisation Based Treatment for Adolescents in Anna Freud Centre.

She also completed complementary courses in Anna Freud Institute (MBT) and Introductory training in couples psychodynamic psychotherapy in Tavistock Relationships.

Her experience was built up during the internship in charity organisation ASLAN Association, in Warsaw, where she continued to develop her professional skills during the course of her studies. Her focal point of interest was working in group modalities with children and adolescents, which she found both challenging and inspiring at the same time. Additionally, she used to organise psychoeducation workshops, workshops on parenting skills, work in individual therapy with young adults. Her work was supervised by professional senior members of Instytut Rasztow, by people who she have great respect for and who she considers as personal mentors. She also undertook a placement at Neurosis, Personality and Eating Disorders Clinic, Psychiatry and Neurology Institute in Warsaw. Currently Karolina is a member of Polish Psychologists Association in London, She is on the third year of WPF training in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy and in Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust doing training in couples psychodynamic psychotherapy as en extension of her professional skills. She works with Polish and English speaking clients in individual psychotherapy both face-to-face and on Skype.

Karolina learned in the course of her own personal development that any kind of change in our life plans, even the one seen as adversity, is a combination of risks and opportunities, losses and gains, and it takes both courage and determination to make use out of it.

In her spare time she practices Yoga and Mindfulness, which she finds both comforting and grounding, she is also a huge enthusiast of trekking, she loves exploring new lands which is linked with travelling worldwide with her family. When she cannot go further away, she does a lot of local public walks in Sussex, taking her dog with her whenever its possible, as he is quite grateful companion, he never complains.
