Karthik Marupeddi is a Senior Software Engineer at TIGA, The Integration Group of Americas, based in Fort Bend County, Texas. With over a decade of experience in the software industry, he has become an integral part of TIGA’s team, contributing to the company’s mission of providing advanced systems integration and engineering services to improve operational efficiency and safety in industrial markets.

Originally from India, Marupeddi moved to the United States 15 years ago to pursue higher education. After completing his studies, he began a career in software engineering, gaining expertise in various technical domains. His strong problem-solving and software development foundation has allowed him to take on key roles in significant projects that have impacted the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

At TIGA, Marupeddi’s primary responsibility is the development of IOps, a software solution that integrates SCADA systems to improve the management of oil and gas assets. The software allows users to monitor and operate these assets remotely, increasing efficiency and reducing operational risks. He also worked on Messenger+, a platform designed to predict operational challenges such as scheduling and capacity by analyzing customer data. His expertise in developing user-friendly interfaces using technologies such as Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS has ensured that these platforms are intuitive and easy to use.

Before joining TIGA, Marupeddi worked as a Software Developer at Verizon Business in Richardson, Texas. His role involved developing web-based applications that enabled Verizon’s clients to manage their services more effectively. One of his key projects was creating the E-Bonding system, which allowed Verizon’s business customers to generate orders, manage trouble tickets, and handle inventory. He contributed to this project by developing web services and ensuring seamless data transformation and integration between different systems.
