Karuna Rana

Chemical & Environmental Engineering graduate and sustainable development advocate, with special interest in youth leadership. Career experience includes grassroots actions, advocacy and activism, civic journalism and communications, and social entrepreneurship, within sectors such as the UN, corporations and non-profits. Co-founded Green It!, an environmental youth-led non-profit organization in Mauritius, and co-edited UNEP’s publication ‘Global Environment Outlook-5 for Youth’. Currently also serves as Ambassador to One Young World, Contributor to award-winning media organization The Verb and Global Shaper to the Global Shapers Port Louis Hub.
