Kas Arkbar
Artist, producer, lyricist. Newark, NJ native, Kas Arkbar has been performing for years. The Brick City MC has showcased his talent throughout the east coast, including a first place win at William Patterson College’s talent show hosted by Hot 97’s Fatman Scoop. Kas has performed in front of over 5,000 people in Wyclef Jean presents The Carnival for the Haitian Youth in Miami ’99. He has also shared the stage with artists such as Mya, Usher, Destiny’s Child, Alliyah, And Treach to name a few.
As an artist and producer, he has been featured on numerous mixtapes including: DJ Lazy K: Dipset vs Murdamamis, DJ Smallz: Southern Smoke Radio mixtape twice, DJ Delz: The Lucky Pick and The Kashi Kicks edition hosted by Ricky Fontaine, DJ Str8 Fire: Making Of A Boss Mixtape, DJ Str8 Fire: Recipe for Crack, DJ Emiliot: One step in the Hood, DJ Ames: Grind Time Vol.3 and Nauce World Order: The mixtape. He is also featured in the up and coming One Ten Magazine Heat and Bars section with a two- page spread, as well as in the UK’s number one online hip-hop magazine Rago in the mixtape of the week section for “Making Of A Boss.” His most recent work is entitled Head bangers Ball EP and the Crowd Control EP.
Kas has a media ready image, infectious personality and lyrical caliber that is very enjoyable. With a style reminiscent of B.O.B, Cee Lo Green, Flo rida, and a younger Mos Def, Kas is ready to be the new voice of pop and hip hop.
