As a traveling nurse, she can be found supporting patients and interacting with other healthcare professionals on a daily basis. As a registered nurse in interventional radiology, she can additionally monitor vital signs and support vascular surgeons.
As a liaison between patients and their clinicians, she helps them obtain the necessary information before and after an operation. One of her favorite aspects of nursing is spending time with her patients, who she lovingly refers to as her family. During difficult times, she can console them.
Kasey travels to experience different cultures and experiences. She aims to improve her perspective on the world and promote environmental awareness.
Travel is a crash course in tolerance, humility, openness, empathy, and adaptability. It resets a person's mindset and helps them realize that they have achieved something in life.
One of the most fun parts of traveling for Kasey is getting to meet people from other cultures. It allows her to see how they live and how they interact with each other. Throughout her travels, she has also learned about various subjects such as history and geography.
