This child prodigy began his musical journey when he amazed everyone around him with his passion for the tabla (Indian drums). Akash Ahuja stood out from most children at a very young age as he embraced his musical talents- quickly gaining the love and respect of his family, school teachers, and peers alike. By the age of 8, he was proclaimed a "rhythmic genius" after performing for 850 people at the New York City Town Hall in 2007.
