Kashpa Khan
Student, Lead Peer Advisor, and Volunteer in Bothell, WA
I’m a student pursuing a double degree in biochemistry and health studies at Bothell, WA. I enjoy volunteering, traveling, and trying new baking recipes.
My journey began as a first-year student excited to explore the world through chemistry. My interests have always aligned with understanding diseases and how they impacted health. As a I grew in my program, I realized health goes beyond internal mechanisms of diseases and includes an assembly of social dimensions- leading to my passion of public health.
As a public health official, I aim to protect and promote community health by reducing health disparities and striving for equity. At my core I serve to help and inspire the people around me. Outside of being a student, I split my time being a Lead Peer Advisor at UW Bothell, a COPE Health Scholar at Swedish Medical Center, and a Quality Improvement Assistant at HealthPoint Bothell. My interdisciplinary collection of experiences have given me the opportunities to support diverse groups of students engage in their education, and have various roles in the patient care delivery system- involving both clinical and administrative settings.
You can view more of the experiences I've collected over my undergraduate years on my LinkedIn. Please feel free to send a message if you want to reach out!
