About Me
I’m Kamulindwa Augustine widely known as Kastine Augak, a software engineer living in Fortportal, Uganda .Dedicated to transforming the educational landscape of East Africa through artificial intelligence.
As the Co-founder and CTO of SomaGPT, Kastine leads the technical development of AI-driven tools that provide students with personalized study materials and exam preparation. His work is rooted in the belief that technology can bridge the gap in educational accessibility, making high-quality learning resources available to every student, regardless of their location.
Beyond his work in AI, Kastine is a versatile technologist with expertise in mobile app development using Flutter and Dart, as well as robust experience in network security as a Fortinet Certified Expert. He also co-founded Apex Web Services, where he helps businesses establish a strong digital presence through custom web and IT solutions.
When he isn’t coding or architecting systems, Kastine is deeply involved in his community. He is a talented brass musician, often seen performing with the UPDF Mountain Division Band, and remains an active member of the Uganda Scouts Association.
Kastine is always looking to collaborate with fellow innovators and educators who are passionate about the intersection of technology and social impact.
