For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by the world of photography and other forms of visual communication. I got hooked on shooting photos of everything around me at an early age. I have boxes filled with images of my failed attempts at producing photoshoots of siblings dressed in oversized clothes from my mother's closet.

As I got older my passion for photography thrived. I knew I loved taking photos of the people around me but I had no set direction until Christopher Briscoe came to my photography school as a guest speaker. He stated, "The human face is the strongest landscape in the world." In his presentation he stated that his most valuable images are not the one that will be recycled from a magazine after a month, but the one that will be treasured gifts on the mantel of the families who wanted portraits of their loved ones.

And all at once it clicked, I wanted to be that Portrait Photographer. I saw how the photos I took were important to my family and now I want to do that for you.

Attending Brooks Institute of Photography gave my the advantage of learning from such amazing photographers as Tim Meyer, Chris Orwig, Ralph Clevenger, Chris Broughton and Paul Meyer.
