Hi,
I go by Kat. I grew up in Gilbert, AZ and moved to the Washington DC area when I was 18. From There I became a travel agent, eventually working for the National Geographic Society, which was a wonderful experience. Still at NGS, I moved over to the Marketing side of the company, working with the direct mail division as a database programer. I eventually moved on to another company doing database work for mostly non-profits and then ended up at Paralyzed Veterans of America. During these years I married, had a great little guy, then divorced. I met my husband Dave at PVA where he still works. After we married we decided I would stay home to be there for my son. We moved to Austin a few years ago which is great as my parents and my brother and his family live in San Antonio.
After my years being a stay at home mom I have decided that at some point I will want to enter back into the workforce. I am a graduate of Marist College and have a BA with concentrations in Psychology and communication. I'm interested in finding a non profit company that is interested in human services. My intention is to help improve the lives of others.
