I am the guardian of the night. I prowl through the tall grass and hide in the shadows of the world. All things that purr are my allies; everything that roars is my friend. Sent here to guard the elements and protect the Earth from the wrath of man.

I walk amongst you, though I am not one of your own. My true self hidden from your blindness, shrouded in grief and regret. Destined to make our plight known, always wandering forever alone.

The land is my mother, the water my brother, and the roaming herds flow through my veins. I am everything at once, yet nothing at all, and never more than what I became. Human in presence, feline in nature, gifted with a magical soul.

I am Katanya, goddess muse of all felinity in the universe. I am the protector of everything heartbeats survey. Ignorance my enemy, time a great foe; holder of the knowledge that death is true life. Soldier of passion, innocent tool of the Earth, Shannara is my life.
