Katarina Vučković is an experienced youth work professional from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with over 20 years of dedicated service to youth development. She began her journey in community engagement as a high school volunteer with the Youth Bank program and has since built a distinguished career in youth work.

Currently, she serves as Program Manager at the War Childhood Museum, while her previous roles include Head of the Youth Work Department at the Institute for Youth Development KULT in Sarajevo, and Executive Director at PRONI Center for Youth Development in Brčko District, where she first began working with young people.

Katarina’s work spans a wide range of activities, from supporting youth-led initiatives to advocating for youth rights, volunteering, and youth policy development. She has been deeply involved in shaping youth participation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while also contributing to regional and European youth networks. Notably, she served on the Commission for Coordination of Youth Issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and was a Board Member at Youth Express Network (Y-E-N). She also collaborates with the Salto SEE Center as an accreditor for the European Solidarity Corps.

As a trainer and mentor, Katarina focuses on developing youth activism, team building, youth work, and youth policy, empowering young people to lead change in their communities. She is passionate about professionalizing youth work in Bosnia and Herzegovina, believing it to be a critical tool for addressing societal challenges and fostering youth growth.

Katarina holds a background in Youth Work and Leadership and is currently studying Social Work. In her free time, she enjoys amateur photography and is an active member of a fire show group.
