Katarina Jonsson Kamperin
Southern California
My name is Katarina Jonsson Kamperin. I live in beautiful, sunny Southern California where I am able to embrace my curiosity and creativity. There’s always something to do here in SoCal and I like to keep busy with a wide array of interests including painting, hiking, gardening, skiing, traveling, cooking, and interior design.
Inspired by the beautiful California landscapes and scenery I come across on a daily basis, I enjoy painting things like flowers, palm trees, sunsets, and anything else that happens to catch my eye.
Interior Design is another hobby of mine that allows me to be creative side and show off my own personal decorative style. I am always rearranging the rooms in my home and adding new aspects to create an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere for both me and my guests.
Hiking has always been one of my favorite hobbies as there is so much to see and explore throughout California. Some of my favorite hiking trails include the Bridge to Nowhere and Sandstone Peak.
The climate in Southern California is great for growing a flower garden. I love admiring the beautiful colors and the wonderful fragrance year round. Some of my favorite flowers include the California Lilac, the Miniature Hollyhock, and the California Poppy.
I've always loved skiing as it is a great way to stay physically active while still working on focus and mental discipline. One of my go-to ski spots in California is Mammoth Mountain.
A major part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is eating the right foods. Recently, I have become very interested in cooking and am always looking for new healthy recipes to try and share with my family and friends.
While I have few complaints about the California lifestyle, it is nice to step away from it every once in a while and explore new areas and cultures. Some of my favorite vacation spots include Mammouth Lakes, Catalina Island, and Cabo San Lucas.
To feed my competitive spirit, I like to follow my favorite local sports teams: the LA Dodgers, the LA Lakers and the Oakland Raiders.
