I'm a late bloomer who's still growing as person. a professional, an artist and an athlete. I used to be sorry about being so behind.....after all at 49, shouldn't I have all the important questions answered by now? I have decide that I am where I am and life is journey... I'm going to enjoy it and hopefully make the world a little better before I go. I like to be outside, I like to be active, keep fit and I like to create things. I want those things I create to refelct the beauty of all I see around me. As an introvert, I'd rather write about it than talk about it, but know I live and work in a world where that is rarely possible so I spend a lot of energy and time working to overcome that discomfort. Much of my life has been spent overcoming things so I am used to doing battle...in fact nothing gives me more pleasure than staring my irrational fears in the face and chasing them from my brain. It's never easy and it takes a lot of time, but nothing is more empowering. I am friendly... but have few people I would refer to as friends (I feel appreciated and liked - don't get me wrong... I like lots of people, its just different for me). However those that are my friends have stood the test of time and distance and will be in my life forever. I am hard to get to know (goes back to that introvert thing) but welcome getting to know others.
