I am an endlessly exhausted, relatively optimistic, overly passionate, constant foot-in-mouth, kind but sassy mom and Ph.D candidate. My rock star husband and I have two incredible little ones, who we named Patito (little duck) and Osito (little bear) in the womb. In addition to being a parent, wife, and student, I am a daughter/granddaughter, sister, aunt (three times over and counting), friend, educator, and business owner. It is a crazy life, and I am often driven to the point of irrationality because of it. But it is in these spaces of indecision and often self-derision that I find myself flung open and discover a new page to be written, a new lesson to be learned.
