Kate Nugent is a Marketing Professional and Brand Strategist who blends broad-spectrum work experience with high-level strategic thinking and tactical creativity to solve complex brand challenges. She earned her B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1998 and a Certificate in Integrated Marketing from The University of Chicago in 2011.

She began her career at Saatchi & Saatchi as a Strategic Planner, where she first developed her passion for branding. Following Saatchi, Kate worked in legal services at Davis Polk & Wardwell thinking perhaps her future would be in corporate litigation. But, she continued to be seduced by the siren song of branding and re-charted her course accordingly.

Currently working independently on engagements for clients that span the branding spectrum, she's ultimately seeking a marketing position within a fast-paced, creative environment. Her areas of expertise include Strategic Planning, Market Research, Competitive Analysis, and Social Media Marketing. She also volunteers through the Taproot Foundation as a consultant on branding and marketing projects and conducts Alumni Interviews for Dartmouth.
