FAMILY MATTERS

No, this short little biography is not about how I love the well-known television show, Family Matters, although that is a great one. My "about me" is actually on the idea that family does matter to me. I come from a fairly large family that is spread out in both ages and interests. I have a mom, dad, two older sisters who are married (giving me two brothers), a younger sister, and the cutest niece and nephew you could ever imagine. I also have a grandma that lives right next-door, not uncommon for a small town. Across the road live my cousins and my aunt and uncle. As you can see, family is something that was always prominent at anytime while I was growing up. Whether I liked it or not, they always seemed to be around. Could this be irritating at sometimes? Yes, but I could not have asked for a better one to irritate me. I'm sure I do my fair share of aggravating, too. Now that I have started my new, "on my own" part of my life, I have come to the realization that having my family always around was not such a bad thing. There will never be another one like them. Each family member is very different from one another. We. of course, have all the stereotypical characters you could think of and even more; but it is these differences that make up our family as a whole, each contributing their own little flare. Although they are not actually here with me, I know that that my family is standing right beside me wherever I am and wherever I continue to go. No matter the circumstance, they are dependable, they are role models, they are loving, and they are happily mine! How blesssed I am to be a part of the "Reeves family"!
