Student in Cazenovia, New York
Hi! My name is Kate and I'm from a small town in Upstate New York, but am currently a student at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Welcome to my blog, Latte Da! Latte Da is a place for coffee lovers to come together to share their passion for coffee, while I go around exploring my favorite coffee shops in this beautiful city. My goal is to explore different coffee shops in Boston and encourage my readers to get excited about the many luxurious cafes Boston has to offer.
Although I don't have much experience with blogging, I have been a coffee fanatic for many years. It all started with my mom who eats, sleeps, breathes coffee. I remember waking up ay 6:30 to go to soccer and smelling my moms fresh cup of coffee. I loved the smell, but I couldn't stand the taste. Repeatedly I would try my mom's coffee, but not once did I enjoy the taste...until 8th grade. We were on a school trip to Boston and all of my friends got a iced caramel swirl coffee with cream and sugar (which is still every eighth graders order), loaded with sugar. I ordered one to be like my friends, and sure enough, I liked it. That's where my love for coffee all began.
At first, I didn't like coffee unless it was loaded with sugar. Now, I prefer stronger coffee that certainly is less sweet. Coffee has surprisingly had a big impact on my life. Not only does it prevent me from failing out of college, but it has built relationships and strengthened my communication skills. If I ever have to do an interview, or meet with a future employer, etc. I always turn to coffee to find comfort and relaxation. Coffee really calms my nerves and gives me confidence. Hopefully after reading my blog, you will find the same comfort in coffee that I do!
