Kate works as a scientist at the Rockefeller University in the Laboratory of Cellular Biophysics where she studies HIV using fluorescence microscopy. In 2013, she completed a BS in Molecular Genetics and a BA in Philosophy at the University of Rochester. She is a science communicator currently involved with a variety of science outreach organizations throughout New York. Her goal is to make a career of talking to the public about science in a fun and informative way.
