Kate Brockhurst (aka Kdot.) Find me on Linked In.

I started my first company and website in 2000, as I was graduating University. It was a social network, very similar to Facebook, however I wasn’t much of a Mark Zuckerberg (and it was pre-WIFI!)

I started working at SonyBMG Records as PA to Dave Pearce. It was at a peak in Dave’s career on BBC Radio 1. Moving to Wise Buddah Talent in 2004, where I managed the diaries for some of the biggest DJs on UK radio at that time.

In 2006 I devised the ‘Firin’ Squad Unsigned Podcast’, we promoted it on the only social network of the time, MySpace. In 2007, the show won Gold in the first ever ‘Best Internet Programme’ category at the Sony Radio Academy Awards.

Then I teamed up with radio expert Tom Brown in Ibiza, which led to the ‘We Love Ibiza Podcast’ for We Love Sunday’s at Space. It quickly went to the top on iTunes and achieved over 1 million downloads that first summer.

I set up Kdot Online in 2007 to support talent in the music industry, booking live events, using social media content and channels to build traffic, audiences and fan-bases. But Kdot Online keeps evolving, as I do.

Kdot Online now services a range of clients from across the world, in entertainment, publishing and well-being.

I have worked with everyone from popstars to Princesses’, from Duchesses’ to drummers, with a focus now on authors and positive lifestyle-gurus. ]

I have the best job.
